Hi there, I just tried the demo on Steam and was looking for a place to give feedback, you may have already heard some of this but just writing what I found and hope it helps. I love the idea, the art, and the goal.  Keep it up and good luck!

Bugs

- After serving the 3rd customer it bugs out and doesn't let you continue.

- There's a bug with selecting ingredients, not sure the cause but it doesn't register putting ingredients in sometimes. I only noticed it when putting the butter in but I always put the butter in first so it could be the first item you put in. Currently, putting the ingredient in again solves this and lets you continue.

- The collision on the yarn ball game can bug out, it doesn't break anything but it isn't correct.

- The npc dialogue box extends off screen.

- The legend for the fire game in the top right extends off screen.

- Sometimes npcs don't show the speech bubble with the item they asked for, if you accidentally click through the text and miss it, you won't know what to make.

MiniGame Feedback

The yarn game is cute but not very engaging after the first few times you play it, the filling game is uninteresting once you figure out the meta, the fire game can be a little difficult and annoying (not cozy).

Suggestions

Maybe make the yarn ball a dough ball and place randomly generated dough pieces in the bowl that you have to smack the dough into and it grows, making it into a collection game, rather than just hitting it 20 times. You can play sound effects that scale based on the number of dough pieces you hit in one shot, maybe even making it into a score multiplier.

I'm sure you have something planned but a game where you knead dough as cats do could be fun and on brand.

Baking Powder is not the same as Baking Soda as is currently depicted. They are 2 separate ingredients that behave differently.

For the fire game, increase the hitbox of the flames and make the cursor point consistent. With the matches it seemed to be the tip, with the logs you could use the whole image, maybe making it an explicit cursor would be better with the icon next to it or making the icons similar sizes and using the whole image.

Hope this helps, I'm hungry now XD

This looks adorable.

I just tried the demo and it is so cute and fun. It is such a cosy game and I loved the art style.

Are there any plans to make different recipes require different steps or activities to do? I am thinking similar to Cooking Mama, where you need to do different steps to complete certain recipes, making some recipes harder and easier. This would break up the gameplay more, and reinforce the core gameplay loop while not straying too far from the concept.

Another thing that has me thinking is what the progress going to be tied to or how progress is going to be integrated? Am I going to be able to decorate my bakery? Is there a currency? Is it just narrative-driven? Do I unlock recipes?

Truly loved the demo and can't wait to see the final product. Sorry if my comments are a bit much, I'm a girl game designer myself, so am just passionate. I would love to hear more and talk more about the game.

I just tried the demo and really liked the cute art and the cozy feeling. It's very promising for what the complete game will be.

Couple of things I noticed.

The game always started on my second screen instead of my main screen, I had to disable the second screen for a while to play it on the correct screen.

I had a strange issue that after I completed a lemon tart, the customer asking for it (a cute deer) was already gone, and a there was a squirrel waiting, but his text didn't appear, probably because the part of the deer wasn't completed. Also the textballoon with the question mark that tells you there is a customer that needs attention didn't disappear after going to the right part of the shop. Because the squirrel didn't start his lines, the game didn't proceed.

And one other thing I noticed is in the oven mini-game, using the wood to increase the fire was a bit hard, it's not really clear what part of the wood needs to touch what part of the fire, I think this could be more visible.

Oh and an idea, in the recipebook the cupcakes all have some kind of sprinkles on them. Maybe that would be nice to be able to use as decoration, to add a pince of sprinkles (not one at a time, that might make it tedious to do).

Keep up the good work on this lovely game :)

i would love to play this game but my computer screen is kinda weird since some of it is like blackish so i cant really actually play the game so i hope you would put an window screen mode! but even so i will continue to support you until the end<33

Thank you so much for the love! If you click on ALT and Enter simultaneously, it should work!

im excited to play this game after attending the developers live on tiktok to answer questions about the game. Super delightful and looking forward to successful campaign! lets support and bring this game to life.

Thank you so much for your kind words and support, Boba Tee Delight!

I love cozy and baking games and this one is not an exception! I started to follow the team and the game a couple of months ago on TikTok, and I even participated in their event of drawing your own character! So when I received the email to play the game, I was so excited.

The art it's really comfortable to see and pretty, and it gives me a sense of sweetness too. The character's design is simply adorable, and the gameplay is very intuitive but also changeling.

Of course, I know it's a demo, but I have some points to highlight. For example, the mixing minigame: It's pretty creative, but I don't feel that I'm mixing, just bouncing around, but it's fun! It's just I don't think it matches the activity. For the scooping minigame, It would be great if it was more accurate, like you can control how many scoops would you like, but it doesn't really bother me.

Finally, for the decoration game, I liked it a lot! But it would be easier if we could rotate the item to the left and to the right with, for example, keyboards, so I don't have to click a lot just to rotate the item a little to the left.

Besides that, It's a really fun game! I would definitely give it a try a thousand times! I'm sorry if any of my ideas or opinions are in your progress list, you are doing an amazing job! Keep the good work! <3

Thank you so much for these helpful comments, and for the love Muri! I'm so happy you enjoyed playing our little demo!

i absolutely loved playing this game. i've been waiting for the demo or playtest because i was so excited when i saw it on tiktok! i keep running out of cozy baking games to play and was so happy to find this one, and i've been following it for a bit.

that being said, i do have some critiques! i understand this game is in early development, so i'm sorry if these are things you guys have already planned to add!

first off, for getting ingredients i think they should stack up in the basket instead of on a bar. it would be so cozy and cute in my personal opinion! i like being able to see them, i just wish maybe they were in the basket, and if we want to take them out we could drag them! i also wish they were checked or crossed on the list, but you may already be planning on it!

i love that there's a score system, i just wish if you fail, the customer will know or fifi will have a voiceline, or if you do good something will happen idk! i just felt like i didn't have to do good when i played.

for the cupcake scooping minigame, i think they should be, click for one scoop, click again for 2 scoops, click a third time for 3 scoops, and then click to reset. or at least it should be more consistent.

finally, for decorating, i think the "ingredients" should be separated and organized like fruit or food, and i think the decorating should look and feel more real? if that makes sense, it just doesn't fit the style of the game in my opinion!

like i said before, sorry if you're planning on doing any of this for the future!! i adore this game, the concept is so cute, the minigames are so fun, and i'm so excited to watch this game grow. i love it so very much, i love the characters. i'm excited to continue following it's development! much love to the development team, you guys are doing amazing! <333

This feedback is super helpful for us! Some of it, such as the cupcake scooping minigame, are in our plans, but the inventory system feedback is really enlightening for us! Thank you very much, luuniiverse!

Before I start the review I would like to point out that this cozy game exceeded my expectations! I played the demo and am very happy, I can't wait for the finished version! But now to my improvements: The minigames are a good idea. I especially like the cutting board minigame, but the one with the bowl could be improved. The yarn could be replaced with real dough, which the cats' paws kneaded thoroughly. Thus the player would have more of a feeling of actually baking something! I like the way, you can fill up the little cups with the dough! I don't think the mini-game with the oven is that bad either, but it is difficult to tame the flames and the green bar at the same time!

Another small detail  I would like to point out is the arrows with which you can move through the bakery because it took me some time to find them. Making the arrows bigger or giving them a different color (like white) would make it easier to see them!

The customers are so cute and so are the recipes, so no criticism of that! The idea and concept of this cozy game is top notch and I can't wait for the finished game to be published!

Thank you so much for the love and your helpful feedback, emiggee! We will definitely reevaluate the mixing minigame, and thanks for pointing out that the arrows are not as legible as possible :)) Have a great day!

I have some comments on the implementation of the mechanics, things like the mixing minigame got nothing to do with actual mixing, the cutting minigame is sometimes inaccurate and would be better if it was something like actual cutting and not a time-based minigame, I think this will help to achieve your cozy goal better, also the game would feel better if It was from the perspective of madame fifi herself instead of a third person perspective ( something like coffee talk ), I like the decorating part tho and the game idea itself is great I just think the actual implementation of the mechanics needs some work before polishing it.
